Industries Corporation is committed to honor all aspects of the EU Directive 2002/95/EC Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) which was implemented on July 1st 2006.
- All standard products are currently manufactured with lead-free solder.
- All standard parts in our inventory have lead-free finishes on the component terminations.
- Jerome Industries does not presently use any of the following substances in any of it's products: Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr 6), Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) or Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE).

This is generally only done, when a product which has been purchased from us over a long period of time is required to be manufactured again, and there is concern over the use of lead-free solder. This option is available for manufacturers of medical products under the allowable exemptions stated in EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE) .
